These are the best heavy trailer tires in this 14” size you can get. My boat weighs 5500lb and trailer can only fit 14” wheels under fenders so finding a tire that will hold up to all the weight is hard. These fit the bill perfect.
I replaced the load range C bias tread tires on my White Water Retro 177 with these load range D radial tires. The trailer towed well originally but is even better with the radial tires. These tires were manufactured in March 2017 so they did not sit on a shelf for any time. I like to shop local but when there is a $30+ difference in price with free shipping.
Purchased these to replace some 6 plys i had on a single axle trailer that carries a 18.5ft bass boat. The boat is heavy, and the previous tires sagged pretty bad. These carlisle 8 plys do not sag in comparison, and the trailer pulls good behind my truck now. Would recommend.
