I have performed this repair on my dishwasher previously and used factory parts then, this time I did look at 'other' branded parts and visually compared them to factory OEM. Naaaa.... no way, quality is not there. So, I ordered the recommended factory part and installed it. Dishwasher door opens, closes, and 'holds' in different positions now as designed.
OEM. Updated design from my original which will not break as mine did (after 14 years).
Product was good quality and very reasonably priced.
